Worcester Proves Too Much For Mystics
WORCESTER, MA – Defense ruled the day on both sides of the ball as Worcester was able to score on two tactical high kicks in the first half. The second half was a defensive stalemate with the score 0-14 at the final whistle. The Second XV again put on a show and blanked Worcester 31-0.
Mystics Defeat CT Yankees to Win Opener
PINE BANKS – Defense was the key to the first win of the 2006 season as the Mystics held the Yankees to only 10 points to win 24-10. The Second XV put on a display on all sides of the ball to run away 31-7.
Mystic Comeback Falls Short
SARANAC LAKE, NY – Down 4 tries to Penn State Lost Lions in the Saranac Social Semi, the Mystics rallied in the second half to score 3 tries in 5 minutes but ran out of time before the final whistle losing 32-44. The Mystics were 3-0 on Saturday to reach the semifinal.
