MONTREAL, CAN – The Mystics went undefeated at the Montreal Irish Des O’Neill Tournament and yet finished in 3rd place as Plate champions due to an unfortunate tie-breaker technicality. The Mystics tied Burlington, Ontario 12-12, defeated Quebec 35-21 and defeated host Montreal Irish 24-0, leading the tournament in both tries scored and total points.

Mystics Reclaim Bull Moose Crown
NORTH CONWAY, NH – Two Mystic sides made the trek north to compete in Mt. Washington Valley RFC’s annual Rugby on the Rockpile Tournament. After a disappointing third place finish last year, the Mystics came out with guns blazing defeating Burlington and Portland to take home the championship. In the Social Division, the Mystics defeated Saranac Lake and Central Maine, to go on to take second place honors against Middlesex. A superb showing all around for the Mystics.
Mystics End Playoff Run On High Note
AUSTIN, TX – The Mystics defeated the defending national semifinalist Austin Blacks on Day 2 of the National Sweet 16 Tournament. Though Saturday’s loss knocked them out of the finals, the Mystics finished with pride as Sean Burgess, Adnan Kawuma and Brendan Waight each touched down a try, with Derrick Roma converting one to make the final score 17-12. Thus ended a stellar season for the Mystics, with a combined record of 12-3 during the regular and post-season, outscoring their opponents 447-213.
Mystics Fall to Pearl City at Sweet 16
AUSTIN, TX – The Pearl City Black Bears led 17-6 at the half with two kicks from Pat Doherty keeping the Mystics in the game. Unfortunately, Pearl City came out in the second half shutting down the Mystics to take the match 31-6 and ending all hope of a Mystic National Title shot.
