NEW YORK, NY – Both Mystic sides went unbeaten on Saturday at the Four Leaf Fifteens, going a combined 6-0 to cap off a great start to the spring season. The boys will definitely be seeing stiffer competition as the playoffs draw closer, but it is always good to kick off the spring on the front foot. Congratulations to all for a great day of rugby!

Mystic D2 crushes Amoskeag and stays undefeated
The Mystic Barbarians retained top spot in the D2 league standings with a big 47-17 win on the road over second-placed Amoskeag. The Mystics came away with a big win, but had to dig deep to seal the win.
Mystic D2 Barbarians Stay Undefeated
The Mystic D2 side started Saturday off with a strong showing against Worcester, the only other unbeaten team in D2. The Mystics managed the game well and came away with a convincing 22-5 victory. The Mystics now have a more comfortable lead atop the D2 table as they go into a bye week. The Mystics will be back in action against Amoskeag on the road on October 31st before returning home on November 7th to close out the season against South Shore.
Mystics D2 claim a big win at Providence
Despite some shifts in the match time, the Mystics came out firing against Providence to claim a 45-10 victory this past Saturday. The Mystics scored four tries in the first half to secure a bonus point and a 26-0 lead. The Mystics traded tries after the half to move into a 31-5 lead, but the Mystics scored two more tries to take a 45-5 lead before letting in a final try off the last play of the game to slip to 45-10.
