The Mystic River Rugby Club is pleased to announce that John A. Banarhall has agreed to become their new head coach.
Coach Banarhall comes to the Mystics after serving for over 6 years as the head coach and Director of Rugby at Amoskeag RFC. In addition, he has served as head coach of Amokeag’s U-19 team for 3 years. He is well known in national circles, having served as a manager and coach for the USA Rugby U-19 team from 2003 to 2007. He will be assisted by Jacob Sprague (former USA Eagle prop) and Nick Murphy.
Banarhall brings with him a reputation for thorough preparation as well as a tireless commitment to the fundamentals of rugby within the context of the modern game. The Mystics are certain that he will help them to achieve success at the highest levels and are proud to welcome him to Mystic Nation.
