Mystic River Rugby Club is proud to announce our new 7s sponsors Matua and 19 Crimes.
In 1974, Mystic River Rugby Club was established and quickly became known for a certain style of play. In the same year, Matua’s founder Bill Spence released New Zealand’s first Sauvignon Blanc wine and the new flavor became well known across the country.
When Mystic was established, it required a group of men to build a legacy from nothing. 19 Crimes achieved this same feat during the late 1700’s when its founders chose to create a winery in Australia when little had been established in the country.
Backed by a brand, logo, and culture, Matua has earned numerous awards and recognition across the globe, including New Zealand Wine Producer of the year in 2012.
Like Matua, 19 Crimes has amassed numerous awards behind their sought after brand.
As a club, we are proud to be sponsored by two great companies whose history resonates with our own!
As a supporter, check out Matua and 19 Crimes wine at your local wine shop and ask for it at your favorite bar!
